Milton Keynes South Midlands (mksm) is the largest and most successful growth area in the UK. It is made up of parts of three of the UK's best performing regions (the South East, the East and the East Midlands).
With plans to grow by over 224,000 new homes and over 192,000 new jobs by 2021, mksm has an ambitious programme to deliver major housing and economic growth which will bring significant benefits to the UK economy.
About the conference
The 2009 Annual mksm Conference will take place on Tuesday 10 November 2009 in Luton. It will bring together some 200 senior delegates from public and private sectors to promote and discuss the opportunities and challenges in successfully delivering the largest Growth Area agenda. It will focus on how to deliver successful and sustainable long-term growth through the major economic and political changes which will occur over the coming decade.
Delegates will have the opportunity to hear views from Central Government, leading professionals and external commentators as well as to hear about the recent progress made by the strong partnership working across mksm.
